See how your city actually eats.
theBEAT ranks the dish, not just the room — filtered by how people really eat: gluten-free, halal, kosher, dairy-free, nut-free, and more. That’s demand you can’t see from the register. Here’s what it means for your restaurant.
Your best table is the one that couldn’t find you.
Every day, diners tell theBEAT exactly how they eat — the allergy, the diet, the thing they always have to ask about. When they filter for it and save a dish, that’s a person deciding where to spend. When one of those dishes is yours, we want them to find it.
- The dietary needs looking for you. Which restrictions are searching in your neighborhood — and which of your dishes already answer them.
- What diners save and ask about. The dishes people bookmark for later, and the ones where they’re asking “is this safe for me?”
- Where a small change opens a whole table. A shared fryer noted, a dish marked dairy-free on request — sometimes one honest detail turns a “maybe” into a booking.
Own your listing. Keep it true.
We read menus, not labels — and we’d always rather hear it from you. If something about your restaurant on theBEAT is wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it. Accuracy is good for you and safer for the diner.
- Correct a dish or a tag. Tell us the real preparation — what’s actually gluten-free, what shares a fryer, what changed on the menu.
- Fix the details. A wrong pin, old hours, a closed location, a dish you no longer serve.
- Claim your voice. If you want to speak for your venue on theBEAT, reach out and we’ll set it up.

The good part is still being built.
We’re a new app, and we’ll be straight with you: none of this is live yet. But here’s where we’re headed, and if any of it sounds like your kind of thing, we’d love to build it with a few restaurants first.
- Reaching the right diners. Ways to put your dishes in front of exactly the people whose needs you already meet — earned by the food, never a paid placement in the rankings.
- Giving diners a reason to try you. We’re exploring how members could be rewarded for discovering dishes and venues they’d love — on terms a restaurant agrees to, transparently.
- A read on your corner of the map. A clearer picture of the dietary demand around you, over time.
When any of this becomes real, it’ll be opt-in, plainly explained, and it will never buy a spot in the rankings. The dish earns its place. That doesn’t change.
