Rankings, scores, and editorial judgment are opinion and are argued with votes, not corrections. When a correction lands, we fix the record everywhere it appears, then log it here with the date. N° 001Uchi DC — wrongly doubted (10 July 2026)
During a pre-launch integrity audit, a reviewer flagged Uchi DC as a venue it could not confirm existed — its reference material predated the restaurant’s opening at 1700 M St NW on May 12, 2026. The verification desk’s citation trail held: the venue is real, open, and documented (Eater DC, Washingtonian, Axios), and Hama Chili kept its place on the board with sources attached. We log it because the receipts beat the reviewer — which is exactly the direction the system is supposed to fail — and because a corrections page that waits for a flattering first entry is not one.
